Non-Fiction Writing
In language, we will be beginning a new unit on non-fiction writing. Later this week we will come up with a new learning goal and success criteria.
How can I help at home:
Have your child write a non-fiction (a true story, based on facts) report on anything they want. They could write about what they did on the weekend, their favourite sport, their favourite animal, their favourite game. Non-Fiction writing is real (not make-believe), based on facts and usually explains something.
Below are links to some non-fiction writing. Check it out!
