In literacy, we will be discussing inferences and how we can make inferences while reading or looking at pictures.

Procedural Writing
The students are working on how to write procedural text. They worked in groups to come up with similar criteria they saw in the procedural books they saw.

Mr. Wideen's time at Dougall has come to an end. We are VERY sad to see him go. I have taken over teaching the Intermediate ELL students. I'm excited to work with them for the next few months.

Procedural Writing - Making Ice Cream
We have been studying procedural writing in our language classes and we read about how to make ice cream. We followed the steps and tried it out. Boy, was it yummy!!
